After owning and operating Merlin’s Restaurant for more than 25 years, Sue was excited to begin a new career in real estate—working alongside her sons’ team at Wits Realty! With a lifelong love of working with people, Sue was drawn to Wits Realty because of a shared core value: caring more about people than the money.

Representing Wits Realty North, Sue was born and raised in Aitkin and now lives in Zimmerman. She and her husband, Clayton, also spend about half their time at their cabin in the Garrison/Aitkin area. Married for 36 years, they have two children: Andy, co-founder of Wits Realty, and Heidi, who now owns and operates Merlin’s Restaurant. They are also proud grandparents to seven incredible grandchildren who keep them young and bring so much joy to their lives.

Sue’s “happy place” has always been making other people happy—and she believes real estate is all about finding your happy place. Whether you’re buying or selling a home, cabin, or lake lot, Sue would love the opportunity to help you along the way.

Let’s find your happy place together!
